I made Lightning's weapon for Anime Evolution 2010 
This is my first ever sword prop I made (not including those cardboard cut outs as a child =w= ) heheh Took me about, 2 weeks with lots of procrastina--- I mean waiting the paint to dry moments ~3~
Made out of Crayola's Model Magic Clay, Foam Core and Wood.
I hope someday I'll learn how to make props out of resin *o* <3 and make a transforming one -shot'd- and... make dynasty warrior weapons oTL

What type of wood did you use and how did you cut it out?? I'm trying to make one using birch plywood 1/4 in and a jigsaw and it just doesn't seem to be working.
